(The Queen City) Plainfield, NJ – The Plainfield High School chapter of Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) will celebrate its 3rd annual Induction & Initiation Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, marking another strong year of student leadership, career readiness, and community engagement.

The ceremony will honor a new cohort of student members officially joining the nationally recognized JAG program, which focuses on supporting young people in developing professional skills, leadership qualities, and pathways toward college and career success. Family, school leaders, community partners, and alumni are expected to attend in support of this year’s inductees.

JAG is designed to empower students by providing mentorship, career exploration, job training, and hands-on learning opportunities. At Plainfield High School, it has quickly grown into one of the campus’s most active student leadership organizations. Over the past three years, the chapter has led community service projects, hosted career speakers, and participated in statewide JAG conferences.

Chapter advisors highlighted that this year’s group demonstrates “commitment, resilience, and the drive to build a brighter future.” Student leaders say they hope to continue strengthening the program’s presence in the school and the city of Plainfield.

The Induction & Initiation ceremony serves as a milestone for each student’s journey in JAG, officially affirming their role as leaders committed to academic achievement, personal growth, and professional readiness.

As Plainfield continues to invest in youth leadership programs, the JAG chapter stands as an example of what students can accomplish with support, opportunity, and belief in their potential.
